What does CAC mean for our business, how do we impact it and how do we build budgets to achieve order targets. You need to love the numbers. • You are proactive and commercially minded, with a genuine curiosity about platform mechanics, consumer behaviour, and what makes paid media work at scale. Nice to haves • Background in D2C, consumer, or subscription-based businesses, with focus on ROI, LTV, and retention. • Experience with incrementality testing, media mix modelling, or advanced attribution methodologies. • Hands-on experience running TikTok or YouTube as supplementary acquisition channels at scale. • Senior Engineer - ML Systems (AI Products)

Xero · AU: Sydney (45 Clarence St)

    NEWHybridFull-time

The role You will lead the design and implementation of large-scale, production-grade distributed systems that power AI features for millions of daily users. You'll own the architecture decisions that keep our systems flexible, cost-effective, and robust, direct strategy for distributed systems, and manage technical debt across the AI Products estate. Beyond architecture, your impact lies in lifting the technical capability of the entire AI Products team. You will champion engineering excellence, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate across Xero to enhance data usability - applying modern AI research, including Large Language Models, only once it can be engineered into reliable, production-grade systems. The team You will join the AI Products group, a diverse team of scientists, engineers, product managers, and analysts within our broader Data & Science division. As a Machine Learning Engineer, you'll partner closely with Applied Scientists to build the interfaces and harnesses that safely and reliably transition models from research into production. Together, this collaborative team reduces toil and delivers beautiful, data-driven insights for small businesses. The team is currently working on - Designing and building highly scalable, distributed production infrastructure to support generative AI features - Harnessing tools like Python, SQL, and distributed processing engines such as Spark or Dask to handle web-scale data workload. - Deploying to production environments running on AWS and Kubernetes Integrating modern Large Language Model technologies into product features once they're production-ready Where and how you can work Xero offers a flexible hybrid working model designed to blend the collaboration of office life with the autonomy of remote work. You will have access to our modern office spaces, with expectations around office days and collaborative 'boost days' aligned to help your team connect and ship great code effectively. Here are some of the things we are looking for - 5+ years building and operating production Python (or equivalent language) services at scale - this is a software engineering role first; strong system design and coding proficiency are non-negotiable - A track record of owning services or pipelines in production, including operational/on-call responsibility, incident response, and managing technical debt over time - Deep understanding of distributed processing principles (Spark, Dask, or similar) alongside strong SQL capabilities - Demonstrated experience integrating ML models or LLM-based features into production systems - you don't need a research background, but you should be comfortable working alongside Applied Scientists to productionize their work - Familiarity with ML tooling such as MLFlow, TensorFlow, or PyTorch, and data orchestration tools like Airflow or Prefect, is valued but production engineering depth matters more than research exposure - Nice to have: prior experience applying or fine-tuning LLMs in a product context, though this is not a substitute for the core software engineering bar above Apply even if your experience isn't a perfect match! At Xero, we hire based on your skills, passion, and the unique perspective you can bring to enhance our culture and team.

About Us 🚀   Immutable is the world’s fastest-growing game platform, built to power the next generation of games. We aim to drive the next evolution of gaming, combining performance, digital ownership and cutting-edge technology to help games grow and succeed. At the intersection of AI-driven analytics, high-performance growth tools, and seamless digital ownership, our technology helps studios attract, engage, and scale player communities.   Founded in 2018, Immutable is one of Australia’s fastest companies to reach unicorn status, raising more than AUD $400M+ with a valuation of AUD $3.5B. Today, more than 700 games are building on Immutable, and industry leaders like Ubisoft have chosen us as their partner for the future of gaming.   Over 6 million players use Immutable Passport, our unified identity enabling frictionless cross-game experiences, and our Immutable Audience platform has become the fastest-growing SaaS product line in our history. We're scaling rapidly, backed by a global team of creators, engineers, and gamers united by one mission: to build the most valuable growth layer in gaming and redefine how games launch, scale, and succeed. 🚀 A bit about the role 🤔 We're looking for a  Senior Platform Engineer to join our Platform team. This is a hands-on individual-contributor role for someone who sits genuinely in the middle, real infrastructure ownership and application development. Our Platform team exists to accelerate the rest of engineering. As our product teams build out Immutable Audience, our job is to make them faster and safer, removing toil, clearing blockers, and building the paved roads and self-service tooling that let teams ship without reinventing the foundations each time. It's a broad remit. In any given cycle you might be extending our internal Kubernetes operator (written in Go) that provisions services and their supporting AWS resources from a single manifest, improving our observability patterns, hardening reliability, or helping a team choose and integrate a new piece of technology. You'll work across the full stack of how we run software, a primarily AWS environment on EKS, GCP powering our data and CDP platform, Terraform, GitOps with Flux, and a Go backend. You'll own things end to end, set your own priorities with light direction, and have real influence over decisions that we'll build on for years. We're back in a scrappy scale-up phase, so there's a lot of room to shape foundations rather than inherit them. We lean heavily into AI across engineering, from day-to-day tooling to agents in our development and incident workflows, and we care as much about how you interrogate what AI produces as how quickly you use it. We're flat, light on process, and we operate a you-build-it-you-run-it model with a shared, voluntary on-call rotation. The team is Sydney-based and in the office three days a week. This role would suit an engineer who's spent time deep in infrastructure and grown into code, or deep in code and grown into infrastructure, and who wants to own a broad surface area on a lean team rather than a narrow slice on a large one. You'll Be Empowered To 🎮 • Own and evolve our AWS and Kubernetes (EKS) foundations, from VPC upwards • Develop and release Infrastructure as code • Partner closely with security, product and data teams, understanding what they're building and how the platform supports them • Define SLOs, SLIs, monitoring, alerting and incident response practices. • Set the bar for observability excellence within the organisation • Measure systems' health, scalability and performance metrics and identify areas of improvement. • Ensure our incident management processes, automation, and remediation are world-class • Work as a deep technical expert on the services we have ownership over (e.g., cleanup tech debt, maintenance, new architecture patterns) We'd Love You To Bring 🤝 • Hands-on ownership of data reliability and observability: freshness, anomaly and schema-drift monitoring and data SLOs • Deep AWS fundamentals: EKS/Kubernetes as a day-one runtime, Lambda/serverless, networking, multi-AZ • Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), CI/CD, and observability experience • A real silent-failure story, caught or missed, that changed how you work • Solid Go (or a strong track record of picking up new languages fast) • Comfort with AI-assisted development • Experience with identity resolution and consent or auth data modelling • On-call ownership with considered views on alert fatigue • High ownership, candour and a pragmatic, fix-it-while-live disposition Bonus Points For ✅ • Prior experience in gaming, MarTech or high-volume consumer data • Exposure to identity and consent platforms or migrations • Interest in Gaming We are proud of the benefits that we offer for all of our employees globally.   Here is a snapshot 😊   Attracting the best global talent 💸 We commit to paying globally competitive base salaries and contributions to a long-term fund 📊 Sharing our products' success through Employee Stock Options ESOP 🌟 Our flexible working model blends the best of both worlds: Sydney-based employees enjoy hybrid 3 days a week in our vibrant head office, while remote team members can work from home or utilise access to global office hubs via a WeWork All-Access pass 🥘 Lunch is ordered fresh every day in our friendly office in Sydney CBD 🎉 Quarterly End of Cycle Celebration Awards and Dinner 💻 USD $500 WFH allowance to set up your home office ☎️ USD $600 per annum to put toward your internet and phone usage. 🥳 USD $75 per quarter for remote employees to celebrate with local team members  ⛑️ We also support our US Employees with Medical and 401K Insurance 🚘 Our Australian Employees can avail of Novated Leasing, save money by paying for your car using pre & post-tax dollars   Levelling up your growth 🌱 We offer up to USD $1,350 per annum for any classes, courses or events to support your growth and development 📚 Enjoy access to free online courses via Udemy   Helping you thrive 💆🏽‍♀️ Enjoy USD $800 per year to put toward your health and wellbeing 🤗 Get 24/7 access to unlimited counselling for you and your family when you need it through our EAP Service 🎁 Monthly subsidy and discounted rate with ClassPass, including a 1-year free membership to Breethe   Leave when you need it the most: 👨‍👧‍👦 New parents receive 12 weeks of paid leave in our gender-neutral offer. • Principal Software Engineer - React Native

Xero · AU: Melbourne: (260 Burwood Rd)

    NEWHybridFull-time

The role / impact We are looking for a Principal Engineer to join the teams behind the Xero Accounting App (XAA), our flagship mobile experience that helps small business owners stay on top of their finances wherever they are. You will define the standard for engineering excellence at Xero, strengthening technical capabilities and evolving the architectural direction to support our global product roadmap. Core Tech Stack (Non-Negotiable): React Native, TypeScript, and cloud-native backend APIs form the foundation of this role. You will be architecting, building, and leading across all three domains as an integrated system. You will bridge the gap between product vision, strategy, and execution, shaping the React Native technical roadmap to ensure our architectural decisions align with strategic goals. We need a leader who can solve complex mobile engineering problems at scale, seeking clarity within complexity and demonstrating smart ways to simplify while breaking down silos and driving cross-functional collaboration between mobile and backend teams. The ideal candidate is someone who, - Drives architectural strategy across all mobile squads and domains. - Shapes the mobile technical roadmap in close partnership with product, design. - Leads the most complex and ambiguous technical initiatives across the organisation. - Sets the engineering standard for the entire mobile organisation across code quality, reliability, operational maturity. - Acts as a force multiplier at the organisational level by coaching Lead and Senior Engineers. - Anticipates industry shifts, evaluates emerging technologies, and future-proofs the mobile platform. Initially, you will focus on - React Native Excellence: Establishing reference patterns, best practices, and architectural standards for high-performance React Native applications. Optimize for bundle size, performance, native module integration, and TypeScript-first development—raising the bar across the codebase. - Cross-Boundary Technical Leadership: Leading collaboration across mobile and backend teams, ensuring API contracts are designed with mobile consumption patterns in mind, and removing friction at the feature boundary. You'll advocate for the mobile perspective in system design while owning the React Native side fully. - TypeScript-First: Championing strict TypeScript practices across the React Native codebase, establishing type safety standards, and mentoring engineers on patterns that catch errors at compile time rather than at runtime. - Systemic Operational Excellence: Leading strategic prevention of issues by defining frameworks for SLOs, quality standards, crash analytics, and reliability metrics specific to mobile performance and UX. - Capability Elevation: Acting as a force multiplier by coaching lead engineers in React Native architecture, recruiting top React Native + TypeScript talent, and engaging with the broader React Native community. - API & Backend Exposure: Practical experience working across the feature boundary with backend services and BFF/API layers. You can reason about API contracts, mobile consumption patterns, and troubleshoot integration issues—but you're not expected to be a deep backend engineer owning infrastructure, databases, or full service architecture. - AI-Led Engineering for Mobile: Define and execute a vision for AI-assisted development that transforms how React Native code is written, tested, and optimized—delivering step-function improvements in mobile development velocity. Additional Strengths: - You bring extensive experience building and leading mobile applications in high-growth, large-scale environments—understanding the unique challenges of scaling React Native codebases, build pipelines, and release automation. - Your approach ensures React Native architecture and product strategy are inextricably linked, translating technical possibility into beautiful, performant customer experiences. - You focus on strategic prevention rather than reacting to incidents, using delivery and production metrics (crash rates, API latency, bundle size trends) to identify systemic improvements. - A natural ability to thrive in ambiguity allows you to act as a stabilising force, translating shifting business directions into high-level React Native technical roadmaps. WHY THIS MATTERS React Native powers ~70% of the Xero Accounting App. Success in this role means establishing the technical standard for how we build mobile at Xero—defining architecture patterns, TypeScript practices, performance benchmarks, and the processes that support high-velocity mobile development. You'll influence hiring, technical culture, and the mobile engineering roadmap for years to come. This is not a backend role; it's about owning mobile excellence end-to-end. Where and how you can work Our teams are located in Australia and this hybrid role is based in Melbourne or Sydney, offering the flexibility to balance deep-focus work with high-bandwidth collaboration in our beautiful offices. Please apply even if your experience isn't a perfect match! At Xero, we hire based on your skills, passion, and the unique perspective you can bring to our culture.

Our Growth Story: • Supporting patients living with obesity across our 5 markets • Received selective NICE endorsement to provide services to the NHS • Tailored our offering to thousands of patients in Australia, the UK, Germany, Japan and Canada. About the role (What you'll be doing) We’re looking for a Lead Product Manager to own Insights. You’ll build the personalised health layer that turns each patient’s data into visible progress, progress into insight, and insight into the next action; helping more of our patients get healthier, for life. Weight-loss medications are the biggest shift in metabolic health care this generation has seen. But the support around the medication dictates whether our patients lose the weight in a healthy manner and are able to keep the weight off. Our high-touch, proactive support model is the key reason why Juniper has become a market leader, and Insights is the core engine that powers it: getting our patients the right insight, the right intervention, at exactly the right moment. We believe we're still early on what's possible here. As a Lead Product Manager, you'll set the vision and strategy for Insights across Juniper and our brands, and you'll be accountable for the engagement, retention and patient-outcome metrics that flow from it. This includes shaping the features that help us better understand our patients — including weight tracking, body composition tracking, progress photos, nutrition tracking, sleep and more. You'll work hand-in-hand with our Chief Commercial Officer, Principal Product Manager, clinical leadership, design, data science and engineering to shape and deliver ambitious bets. The rewards for getting this right are meaningful. You'll see the results of your work reflected in the lives of the patients we change, replicated on a global scale. Key responsibilities • Lead The Vision & Roadmap: Working with the Chief Commercial Officer & Principal Product Manager, shape the vision for Insights that power our patient’s proactive care. Set the direction and define the bets we make • Execute Quickly, Deliver Globally: Design experiences that make a patient feel their progress and drive engagement, habit formation and long-term retention. Take products from idea to impact and ship them to patients across every market Juniper and future brands operate in. You'll own delivery end-to-end and stay close to the craft • Drive Patient Outcomes, Engagement & Retention: Own your key engagement and retention metrics, connecting product decisions to real health outcomes and commercial impact. You’ll use data and patient insight to understand what's working and what needs to change. • Raise Bar On Craft: Partner closely with design and clinicians to set a high standard for quality, so every insight feels intuitive, trustworthy and distinctly Juniper. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Align clinicians, data, design and engineering, and partner with senior stakeholders to unblock execution and deliver cohesive end-to-end outcomes. About you AI has changed what it means to be a Product Manager, so we are very open to what background you come from. You’ve likely built your experience over 5+ years across: • Product Management, with ownership of consumer-facing, high-engagement product domains • Professional Services (like top-tier management consultancies, legal firms) • Other roles within a high-growth startup, or founded your own startup Ultimately, we’re looking for a high-agency individual that spikes on the following qualities: • First-principles problem solver — You are able to break ambiguous problems down, build a clear and focussed strategy around it, and able to take something from idea to impact while applying clear judgement on tradeoffs along the way • Commercial & analytical rigour — You are laser-focused on delivering outcomes. You design for outcomes you can measure, interpret both quantitative and qualitative signal, and won't mistake motion for progress • Product sense — You have a real instinct and empathy for what makes a person feel something. You can tell the difference between a feature that's “works” and one that lands, and you have a strong intuition for what makes products feel delightful, trustworthy and easy to use • Ownership and comfort with ambiguity — you're energised by ambiguous, high-impact, undefined problems, and you've got a track record of navigating and leading through ambiguity • Influence without authority — You have a track record of building credibility and follower-ship amongst teams and stakeholders, built off the consistency and quality of your judgement, storytelling ability, and long-term relationship building Why join Eucalyptus?
